Message	cars since the 70s have gotten much slower and less fun due to emissions and mpg standards. What if the government taxes dangerous polluting bowel movements, I can't afford to eat at taco bell anymore! My VW TDI can get 50 mpg reliably but it's no fun since all high mpg cars suck. Instant torque from an electric motor also sucks. Of course Europe has almost no "large trucks and buses" on the roads because they travel in chunnels.
